About the Role

The Non-Profit Center Director Role is the operational backbone of our clinic. This individual will ensure that our staff and families experience smooth systems, beautiful facilities, and clear communication every single day. From welcoming new families to managing day-to-day clinic operations, this role is about creating an environment where clients, caregivers, and employees feel supported, empowered, and connected.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Family Lifecycle Support

  • Support the onboarding of new clients and their families, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and efficient experience.

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to match clients with appropriate providers.

  • Monitor and curate our ongoing waitlist and partner with clinical operations to ensure the clinic remains at full capacity. 

  • Meet with the full clinical team regularly to ensure family needs are being surfaced and clinical expectations supported.

HR & Personnel Support

  • Supervise and develop mid-level clinical and operational staff as needed to facilitate appropriate organizational structure

  • Manage employee onboarding (first-day experience, paperwork, systems access)

  • Maintain and update policies, handbooks, and protocols.

  • Provide support for disciplinary action, including performance plans and terminations in collaboration with leadership and HR.

Payroll & Timekeeping

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of employee time cards.

  • Manage punch corrections and communicate payroll deadlines clearly.

Facilities Management

  • Oversee the clinic’s physical environment, ensuring it remains clean, safe, well-stocked, and welcoming for families and staff.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for routine and emergent issues to ensure clinic is kept stocked, clean, and organized at all times. 

Internal Communication

  • Develop and implement systems to keep staff informed about updates, policy changes, and clinic events.
    Ensure communication channels are clear, timely, and aligned with BloomKidz values.

Event Management

  • Plan and execute employee,client, and community events, including setup and teardown.
    Partner with leadership to ensure event goals align with BloomKidz culture and values.

Scheduling Support

  • Support the scheduling team and systems to ensure clients are paired with the right staff at the right times.

  • Troubleshoot scheduling challenges and maintain efficiency without compromising the quality of care.

Ideal Profile

We’re seeking someone who thrives in dynamic environments and knows how to bring calm, order, and excellence to busy teams. Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience as a clinic manager, school administrator, or similar leadership role in a helping profession.

  • A people-first approach with strong organizational systems and attention to detail.

  • Comfort navigating sensitive conversations with families and staff, grounded in empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of management or administrative leadership experience.

  • 3+ years in a clinical, therapeutic, or educational setting.

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in a helping profession (e.g., healthcare, education, nonprofit services).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational needs simultaneously.
